WP7: Genome Wide Sequencing & Genomic Analysis of LC Patient Tissue Specimens
The objectives of this WP are:
- Recruiting sufficient numbers of consenting patients; both patients with LC as well as those undergoing investigations for LC.
- Obtaining sufficient quantity of clinical samples and epidemiological data, specimens, with their relevant data entered on a secure database.
- Preparing sufficient specimens for analysis and design of study for genome wide sequencing, based on patient recruitment with breath samples.
- Performing genome wide sequencing of tumour tissues samples and dysplasia samples;
- Performing expression and methylation profiling of the LC tumour samples which have been sequenced.
- Performing bioinformatic analysis of the global sequencing data, in conjunction with the expression and methyaltion profiling data.
