WP6: Translational Studies

 
The objectives of this WP are:

• Identification and recruitment of sufficient numbers of patients who consent to be monitored and sampled, so that other tasks in LCAOS project can be performed effectively.
• Obtaining adequate data from the monitoring of LC patients (i) while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation and (ii) following these therapies.
• Obtaining adequate clinical and epidemiological data, breathe samples, tissue specimen, etc.
• Obtaining specimens for genome wide sequencing, gene expression and methylation on a subset of patients.
• Obtaining in-vitro cell line studies able to profile volatile signatures of different subtypes of LC, and unique molecular specification that might have predictive relevancy for the therapy algorithm.

Having a bioinformatic analysis of the global sequencing data, combined with the expression and methyaltion profiling data.
